Thomas Paslew, abbot of Fountains 1434-43 (resigned) He was comely and handsome in person, in
soul devout, in Thomas was struck by paralysis and resigned from the abbacy of Fountains a year before his death. He was buried in the nave of the abbey church, between the altars of St Mary and St Bernard.(2) |
