Osmund, fifth abbot of Roche (c. 1184-c. 1213)

Osmund Osmund enjoyed a long and successful abbacy and is remembered as one of the ablest of Roche’s abbots. He set the community back on its feet after the financial difficulties following Hugh of Wadworth’s abbacy. Osmund was cellarer of Fountains before he was made abbot of Roche.
